Highlights

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The documentary includes Dare saying, "I'm not oppressed, if I was oppressed I wouldn't be a Muslim right now. If I thought Islam was an oppressive religion, I would have left Islam. Islam has made me free."

She met her husband in an arranged marriage. He is an ISIS fighter, who was originally born in Sweden.

"Praise to God - I couldn't find anyone in the UK who was, you know, willing to just sacrifice their life in this world for the life in the hereafter for the best in the hereafter in fact. Praise to God that I came here to marry Abu Bakr."

Her search for a man who felt the same faith as she did was not met with acceptance in the UK, where she admitted, "Before I used to wear the face veil it was fine, but when I started to cover my face people used to say, 'go back to your country.' I used to reply, like, 'I was born round the corner.'"

She found acceptance in Syria, where she urges other believers to join the terror group.

"These are your brothers and sisters as well and they need our help," she tells people, "so instead of sitting down and focusing on your families or focusing on your studies, we need to stop being selfish because time is ticking."

An off-camera interviewer mentioned that some believe she carries a weapon constantly because of her spirit to fight, resulting in the belief she is a terrorist, to which she responded, "We haven't invaded any land. Taken their houses, their food, raping their women, killing their men, we haven't done that.

"The Muslims have not done that. It's the people who have come to us that have done that and yet we are called the terrorists."

When out running errands, Dare wears gloves "meant for speed," as other women's gloves are too feminine for her liking.

Though her parents know she is in Syria, they don't know the details of her situation, which is that her husband only makes $150 each month.

Though they live meager lives, Bakr was happy to announce Dare was pregnant with their second child. He smiled as he said he really wanted to see the baby before he gets "shahid," which means to die honorably by fighting.

Even if Bakr is killed, Dare revealed she plans to remain in Syria and continue with her lifestyle with her son, Isa, who was forced to appear in ISIS' latest propaganda video, which earned him the nickname "Jihadi Junior."

Isa's grandfather, Henry Dare, was "devastated they have used" his "grandson like that," saying, "they are using him as a pawn. He's a minor, he's under five. He's acting under the influence of ISIS guerrillas. He's too young."

When asked about his feelings toward his daughter and her family, Henry replied, "I don't want to have any contact with them. They've let me down. I'm totally disappointed. She was a Christian, she was brought up in a Christian way - all of a sudden she decided to become a Muslim."
