LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, all the details regarding the missile construction and Iran's progressive weapons still remain confidential.
Hajizadeh stated, "Some of the threats by the U.S. are aimed at appeasing the Zionists, while others are for the purpose of domestic consumption (in the U.S.), but what is important is that they are aware of and acknowledge our capabilities and deterrence power." He also added, "We do not feel any need to increase the range of our missiles and (our perceived enemy) targets are fully within the range of our missiles."
The IRGC official also said that Iran will not slow research or construction of advanced missiles despite international bans on such actions. According to Hajizadeh, they don't see any restrictions for their missiles, and the IRGC's preparedness and missile drills are done without any problems and, according to their annual time-table, only some have been publicized through the media.
It was discussed over the weekend that Iran, Iraq, Russia, and Syria, are working on a war joint room to coordinate region operations. According to head of the country's Islamic State Council, and political adviser to Iraq, Mohsen Hakim, the supposed "information exchange center" would be the initial step in formalizing a joint operations center that will coordinate military efforts in Syria and elsewhere.
According to Hakim, all the information obtained by this operations center will be distributed to officials from each participating country, including Syrian and Russian armies. Meanwhile, Iran unveiled a high-tech torpedo that the country claims can target and hit areas in and outside water. The tech was borrowed form Russia, Iranian officials told Fars.
