Muslim authorities were accused of attempting to erase Jewish history at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem when they moved tons of earth from the site. However, one 10-year-old a boy found a 3,000-year-old King David-era artifact, making the site a source of excitement and creating a deeper sense of Jewish and religious history.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (Catholic Online) - The Blaze reported the Islamic organization that manages the Muslim sites across Jerusalem became notoriously known for "intentionally erasing" Jewish history from within the city.
Unfortunately for the organization, 10-year-old Matvei Tcepliaev, a Russian tourist, discovered a 3,000 year old King David-era seal at the holiest site for Jews while participating in the Temple Mount Sifting Project.
The Temple Mount Sifting Project has been literally sifting through tons of topsoil discarded by the Jerusalem Waqf Islamic trust for nearly a decade. They have unearthed bronze arrowheads, broken pieces of pottery and other significant discoveries, though none as exciting as Tcepliaev's seal.
Archeologists believe the 10th century B.C. artifact is the first seal of its kind that has ever been found in Jerusalem. It's age, according to the Temple Mount Sifting Project, goes as far as "the historical period of the Jebusites and the conquest of Jerusalem by King David, as well as the construction of the [First] Temple and the royal official compound by his son, King Solomon."
The discovery strengthens the connection between the Jewish relationship with Jerusalem and the biblical narrative about the reigns of David and Solomon, as described in the two Books of Samuel and I Kings.
Jonathan Tobin of Commentary Magazine saw the political context over the fight for archeological evidence in Jerusalem. He claimed Muslims have been reportedly trashing "precious artifacts buried over 30 centuries, the Palestinians hope to convince the world that Jews have no claim to Jerusalem, let alone any part of Israel, including the areas inside the 1967 lines."
The Temple Mount Sifting Project noted that the recent discovery is "particularly significant" because it was found on the Temple Mount which was never excavated due to the efforts of the Muslims in the area to cover history and the truth.
As magenta44 commented, Job 5:12 has once again come to prove true. "He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success."
