Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online)- During their talk in Downing Street, Netanyahu expressed his belief that the U.K and Israel can work together in order to "roll back the tide of militant Islam both in the Middle East and in Africa."
The ongoing talks between Israel and the U.K have been centered around the alleviation of the rise of the Islamic State in Syria and the nuclear deal, which was recently signed by the U.K., its western allies and Iran.
The Prime Minister of Israel is known for his disagreement with the nuclear deal.
He told Prime Minister Cameron, "The Middle East is disintegrating under the twin forces of militant Islam - militant Sunnis led by ISIS and militant Shi-ites led by Iran," as reported in Express U.K.
The U.K Prime Minister assured Netanyahu that Britain "remains staunch in our defense of Israel's right to exist and defend itself."
Protesters gathered together on Downing Street, clashing with pro-Israeli groups, on the eve of the Prime Minister of Israel's visit. Benjamin Netanyahu was re-elected in March this year and oversaw a seven-week military operation in Gaza in order to stop a rocket fire to hit Israel.
He reiterated his recent announcement that he "was ready to assume direct negotiations with the Palestinians with no conditions whatsoever to entering negotiations ... immediately."
