MUNTINLUPA CITY, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Several Turkish students shared a selfie while on a bus taking them to Suruc, a town located at the Southern part of Turkey to attend a rally. The image was shared by 20-year-old Ezgi Saadet on her Instagram account.

Several images of the young Saadet with her friends were posted to her Instagram account. The pictures included images from the bus, as well as other locations in the Kurdish town located near the border of Syria.

The group was gathered to raise awareness to rebuild the Syrian city, Kobane - one of the most devastated regions in the area during the civil war and ISIS' command. The majority of the attendees were students affiliated with the Federation of Socialist Youth Associations.

Tributes have been given to Ezgi Saadat throughout social media; a Facebook page was created under her name. It has now reached 3,000 likes and her selfies went viral after the attack. Many believe she was one of the three girls posing at the scene of the bombing just before the suicide attack, outside the Amara Cultural Centre.

Claims on Twitter, however, point out that none of the girls was Saadat and neither of them were in Suruc during the horrible incident. The pictures appear to be taken at a later date at a pro-Kurdish HDP party in Turkey during the parliamentary election in June.

The other girls seen with Saadat appear to be alive and were not with Saadat during the bombing.

Turkish authorities identified a single male suspect in the suicide bombing attack in Suruc. Initial reports claim that a woman was responsible for the attack. However Turkish news outlets state that the suspect is a 20-year-old Turkish man who left his family to join ISIS almost half a year ago. He was identified as Seyh Abdurrahman Alagoz; his photo circulated over Turkish social media websites.
