MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Abu Abdullah, currently held in a high security prison in the capital Baghdad, recounted in detail how he would order ISIS troops to carry out suicide bombings. The suicide bomb plotter is currently cooperating with the Iraqi regime to uncover interior activities from the vicious terror group, led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Abdullah was captured last July after an extensive intelligence operation by Iraqi officials.
"I didn't do it because I am bloodthirsty. It was jihad. I thought, at some point these Shiites would convert or leave the city. I'm not a butcher. I was carrying out a plan," exclaimed Abdullah. "I was only responsible for the last part of the operation, and that meant preparing the men in my workshop and then bringing them to the right location."
"I received the person's measurements in advance from the leadership in order to be able to make a well-fitting belt. But I always had belts in different sizes prepared."
The captive jihadi explained that he has lost count of the number of mass killings he planned with other terrorists over the 18 months he served as ISIS' head of suicide attacks. According to Abdullah, all of the suicide bombers he encountered were joyful about being chosen to kill.
Travelling in the Trebil crossing and the Iraqi capital of Baghdad is extremely dangerous; a huge part of the area is dominated by Islamic State militants. Earlier this year, Jordan closed its trade crossing with Syria after ISIS took control of the area.
