Islamic State aims to show the groups longevity.

ISIS continues to shock the world every day with horrible images of executions. However, the terrorist group's latest photographs do not display death; they are the picture of life. Infant children are posed with ISIS garb and dangerous weapons.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - In a photo being passed around through Twitter, the baby is seen placed next to a hand gun and a grenade, draped with an Islamic State blanket.

According to the Daily Mail, the image was originally posted by an ISIS sympathizer, but then was re-posted by anti-ISIS activist, Abu Mohammad, an administrator for activist group, Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently.  Mohammad believes this image depicts part of the latest group of children being forced to pose for their jihadi parents.

The current image comes shortly after a similar one was posted by a different activist. In that image a newborn is pictured sleeping with a grenade, handgun and an assumed birth certificate.

The original post with this image came with the warning, "This child will be risk to you not just to us."

According to terror exports, this series of images are attempts to show the group's "supposed longevity" and is is very similar to earlier propaganda trying to radicalize the next generation of militants.

"By showing the birth certificate, and the fact that the group are indoctrinating babies, I think ISIS are indicating they will be around for a long time," explained Australian National University terrorism expert, Dr. Clarke Jones noting the birth certificate is an "ISIS issued ID for a child."

"It's an interesting signal of life within the caliphate. Obviously by posting opposition to the Islamic State from within their borders the activist is operating with great risk."

According to the Daily Mail, ISIS has made it a priority and policy to raise children up to take part in jihad by brainwashing them from a very early age.

With images like these, activists and people around the world are left wondering, "What will happen with this child?"
