El Papa habla sobre los abusos sexuales cometido por sacerdotes contra religiosas

El Papa Francisco hablo este martes 5 de febrero sobre los abusos sexuales cometidos por algunos miembros del clero contra religiosas en la Iglesia, algo que "es un problema" que surge porque algunos consideran a la mujer como "de segunda clase", pero sobre el cual se esta trabajando.

REDACCION CENTRAL (ACI Prensa) - En la rueda de prensa que ofrecio a bordo del avion en el que volvio a Roma desde Emiratos arabes Unidos, el Santo Padre respondio a una pregunta de Nicole Winfield de Associated Press (AP) sobre la accion del Vaticano ante los abusos cometidos por miembros del clero contra religiosas, algo que fue denunciado en la revista femenina del diario del Vaticano, L†Osservatore Romano (LOR).

En el numero de enero del suplemento "Mujeres, Iglesia, Mundo" de LOR, la historiadora y directora del mismo, Lucetta Scaraffia, denuncio estos abusos al interior de la Iglesia  y cuestiono las razones por las cuales "no se habla de los obispos que realmente han violado a monjas indefensas, religiosas que se ven obligadas a abandonar la vida religiosa o a abortar".

En su pregunta al Papa, la periodista Nicole Winfield recordo que hace unos meses la Union Internacional de las Superioras Generales tambien hizo una denuncia publica de este problema.

"Es verdad, dentro de la Iglesia ha habido clerigos, en algunas civilizaciones de modo mas fuerte que en otras. No es una cosa â€~todos hacen eso†, pero hubo sacerdotes y tambien obispos que han hecho eso. Y yo creo que se hace todavia: no es que desde el momento en que te das cuenta, termina. La cosa avanza asi", dijo Francisco.

Tras explicar que ya se ha suspendido y expulsado a algunos clerigos que han cometido estos abusos, el Papa recordo el caso de una congregacion religiosa femenina en la que habia "esclavitud sexual" y el importante papel que jugo Benedicto XVI para llegar a su disolucion.

"El folclore sobre el Papa Benedicto lo hace ver como bueno, bueno como el pan y nada de malo; como debil, pero de debil no tiene nada. Ha sido un hombre fuerte, un hombre consecuente con las acusaciones y el ha comenzado. Y alli en esa congregacion habia este problema que usted dice", refirio el Papa Francisco.

Ante este tema, concluyo el Santo Padre, "yo quiero seguir adelante. Hay casos... sobre todo. En algunas congregaciones, especialmente nuevas, algunas. Y en algunas regiones mas que en otras. Si, esta es la cosa. Estamos trabajando".
