14 religiosas espanolas que murieron martires en la Guerra Civil seran beatificadas

El Papa Francisco ha reconocido el martirio de 14 religiosas de la orden de las Concepcionistas Franciscanas, tambien conocidas como "martires concepcionistas" que murieron durante la persecucion religiosa que tuvo lugar en la Guerra Civil espanola.

MADRID (ACI Prensa) - Diez de las futuras beatas vivĂÂan en Las Rozas, a las afueras de Madrid. Al inicio de la Guerra Civil Espanola su convento fue asaltado por los milicianos. Entonces, las religiosas se refugiaron en un apartamento en el centro de la capital en julio de 1936.
El 8 de noviembre de ese mismo ano, un grupo de milicianos obligaron a las hermanas a salir de la casa en grupos de tres, para posteriormente ser fusiladas.
Las cuatro religiosas restantes que integran la causa fueron asesinadas en distintas circunstancias.
Estas religiosas poseen una calle en Madrid en recuerdo de su martirio, llamada "Martires concepcionistas". A pesar de que el PSOE y Podemos intentaron cambiar el nombre de esta calle por la aplicacion de la Ley de Memoria Historica, no lo consiguieron.
