Obispo retira a sacerdote por amenaza de muerte de grupos armados en Colombia

 El Obispo de Santa Rosa de Osos (Colombia), Mons. Jorge Alberto Ossa Soto, informo que decidio retirar a un sacerdote de su jurisdiccion que fue amenazado de muerte por grupos armados que suelen extorsionar a los pobladores de esta region.

Bogota (ACI Prensa) -Se trata del parroco de Cuturu, zona rural de Caucasia, que se nego a aportar economicamente a un grupo criminal que lo estaba presionando para que les diera dinero.

"La Iglesia Catolica diocesana jamas aportara dinero a ningun grupo promotor de violencia y al margen de la Ley. Hacerlo serĂ­a legitimar acciones en radical y total contradiccion con el Evangelio de Nuestro Senor Jesucristo", explico Mons. Ossa en un comunicado emitido el 26 de diciembre en el que no proporciona el nombre del sacerdote para garantizar su seguridad.

El Prelado indico que el parroco dejara sus funciones y sera retirado hasta que se "den garantĂ­as de respeto a su vida".

"No queremos un muerto mas en la pagina escrita con tantos inocentes que han sido presa de la irracionalidad que invade a los hombres cuando les falta Dios en su corazon", preciso.

En la carta tambiEn se describe la difĂ­cil situacion que viven las comunidades, por amenazas y extorsion en las subregiones Norte, Bajo Cauca-Nechi y Nordeste del territorio antioqueno, por parte de varios grupos armados.

"Los habitantes del Bajo Cauca se han convertido en objeto y blanco de los desmanes y atropellos de los grupos al margen de la ley (...). Asesinatos y cobro de vacunas a comerciantes tienen a la poblacion asfixiada por el miedo, dolor y sobre todo por la impotencia al no sentirse acompanada y defendida por la institucionalidad", dice el mensaje.

En febrero de 2018 la Organizacion IndĂ­gena de Antioquia (OIA) denuncio ante el diario El Tiempo que "la disputa del control territorial y las economĂ­as ilegales en esta zona, dejan en medio del fuego cruzado a la poblacion civil y exponen a un mayor riesgo a los ninos que salen del colegio y que quedan en medio del fuego cruzado".

Asimismo, lamento que las disputas no respeten la vida de los campesinos que buscan "sobrevivir en su mayorĂ­a de la agricultura".

Mons. Ossa resalto que la vida es "un don de Dios" que "solo es posible dignificar y cualificar con los valores evangElicos y la inversion social en las comunidades, la empresa privada y presencia del Estado".

Fuera de ello, afirmo que "seran estEriles e inutiles todas las iniciativas en procura de la Paz".

"Que la Navidad que estamos celebrando sea la oportunidad para revivir el nacimiento de Dios en cada uno de nosotros y el Martir San Esteban que celebramos hoy lleve ante Dios tantos dolores y muertes para que El los transforme en Vida Plena", concluyo.
