En respuesta a la peticion del Papa Francisco de rezar el Rosario durante el mes de octubre, el Cardenal Antonio Canizares presidira el rezo de esta oracion mariana el proximo sabado 27 de octubre en la Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados en Valencia (Espana).

MADRID (ACI Prensa) - El Cardenal Antonio Canizares, Arzobispo de Valencia, presidira el rezo del Santo Rosario al mediodia y esta previsto que durante esta oracion intervenga la Escolania de la Virgen de los Desamparados  con algunas piezas musicales. Sera retransmitido en streaming a traves del canal de YouTube de la Basilica.

Esta iniciativa es una respuesta a la peticion del Papa Francisco de rezar "de manera intensa y especialmente" el Rosario durante el mes de octubre para que la Virgen Maria, "quien siempre estuvo a los pies de la cruz de Jesus y no se dejo vencer por el miedo, ayude a la Iglesia en estos momentos de dolorosa dificultad".

El Papa Francisco tambien pidio rezar la oracion al Arcangel San Miguel, "jefe de los ejercitos celestes y protector de la Iglesia, para que la defienda de los ataques y trampas del maligno".
