LOS ANGELES ,CA (Catholic Online) - A terrorist attack has occurred outside the Parliament building in London.
Members of the House of Commons were put on lockdown following reports of a shooting outside Porticullis House, which is home to several lawmaker's offices. Images received in our studio show several wounded people lying on Westminster Bridge.
Tweny people have been injured, four are dead, including the attacker.
The majority of the casualties are on Westminster Bridge.
There are fatalities. A woman has died after being struck by the terrorist's vehicle. The second victim is an officer who was stabbed. A third victim ended up in the Thames river, and is thought to be alive.
While we do not know the identity of the attacker, or motive, the act is certainly an act of terrorism.
