LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - One asked, "What does your God say about homosexuals?"
Larmour answered their questions and cited several quotes from the Holy Bible before the small group walked away.
He shared the story of Adam and Eve, explaining God told them to be fruitful and multiply. He also shared, "Don't forget Jesus loves you and He died for your sins."
The boy who asked the question and Larmour began to argue, which resulted in Larmour being chased, yet when authorities arrived in a police van, it was Larmour who was arrested for threatening or abusive behavior and language "aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation."
Larmour never used threatening language, be it body or verbal, but still he was charged and spent a night in custody. He then faced 6 months of court appointments in his home town of Irvine, Ayrshire.
Christians in the UK used Larmour's unconstitutional and completely irrational case as a rallying point to speak out against political correctness and the snubbing of their freedom of speech.
Sadly, the assumption is always that the homosexual community is being attacked when sometimes, like in Larmour's instance, they are the ones approaching the Church and asking questions.

Gordon Larmour was accosted by police on false charges.
"I can't see why I was arrested in the first place - it was a massive overreaction and a waste of everyone's time," Larmour later stated. "The police didn't listen to me. They took the young homosexual guy's side straight away and read me my rights.
"I feel they try so hard to appear like they are protecting minorities, they go too far the other way. I want to be able to tell people the good word of the Gospel and I think I should be free to do so. I wasn't speaking my opinions - I was quoting from the Bible."
Luckily for Larmour, the courts agreed the entire situation was a waste of time.
Andrea Williams, the chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre explained: "It is a great relief that the judge ruled in favour of Gordon, because the case simply did not stand up to scrutiny."
Larmour believes the police should have handled the entire situation differently and actually listened to both sides before deciding who was right and who was wrong. He said all they had to do was calm down the youth and leave it at that.
"In court the boy's friend told the truth - that I hadn't assaulted him or called him homophobic names. I had simply answered his question and told him about Adam and Eve and Heaven and Hell. Preaching from the Bible is not a crime," Larmour later described.
After six months, Larmour was finally found not guilty of threatening or abusing behavior and also not guilty of a second charge of assault aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation.
