LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Twenty-six-year-old Abdeslam is related to suicide bomber Ibrahim Abdeslam, who detonated his bomb outside Café Comptoi Voltaire. Their brother, Mohamad Abdeslam, was arrested in the Beligian capital, but Salah remains a wanted man.

French detectives questioned Salah when he crossed the Belgian border with two other people in his vehicle. After showing the authorities his ID card, he was allowed to cross. It was not until after Salah and his passengers abandoned their vehicle in Molenbeek, Brussels - known as the "Jihadi capital of Europe" - that the wanted notice came through to the detectives.

Belgian authorities were immediately notified that Salah had rented the vehicle near the scene of the Bataclan theatre massacre after abandoning a vehicle that held three Kalashnikov AK-47 assault rifles on the outskirts of the French capital.

Unfortunately, officials received the notice too late and have since begun a manhunt.

French authorities believe a team of eight gathered in Molenbeek to collect AK-47s and suicide vests and both French and Belgian police have since begun investigations between the international cell and the Molenbeek area known as the "den of terrorists."

Iraqi intelligence claims the West was warned of an imminent assault the day before the Paris attacks and Turkish officials claim they were able to foil the plan in Istanbul the same day in an act of revenge for Jihadi John's death.

The group, which is composed of Frenchmen living in Belgium and two others who carry Syrian passports and snuck into the country under the guise of fleeing migrants, are believed to have traveled from Brussels to Paris.

In the past 24 hours, seven people have been arrested in connection with the France attacks in Belgium and five were held in the Molenbeek area of Brussels.

Three suspects were held after officials were led to the street a gunman who opened fire on a high-speed train in August once lived and French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said, "those in Belgium who prepared the attacks were not known to the French intelligence services" and claimed the attack on Paris was "planned from abroad."
