The Queen makes a trip to meet her newest great-grandchild.

The royal newborn baby to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, was finally visited by the 89-year-old Queen. She went to Kensington Palace and was introduced to her fifth great-grandchild Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, born May 2, 2015. The baby's first middle name "Elizabeth" is believed to be given in tribute to the Queen.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The Queen arrived on May 5 in a green Ranger Rover around 2:35 in the afternoon at the side entrance of the palace. She stayed for only half an hour, and left through the main entrance on Kensington High Street around 3'o clock. The Queen was in a convoy of two cars and four police motor bikes.

William and Kate made a brief appearance outside the Lindo wing last Saturday night with their baby princess, Charlotte.

Prince Phillip is also expected to meet his great-granddaughter soon. He spent his weekend at Wood Farm, which is a private residence on their Sandringham estate. He could either visit the baby in the evening, or he can go there May 6 before the royal couple leaves and move to their Norfolk county home.

Prince Charles was also seen visiting Princess Charlotte for the second time, just last Sunday. He had previously expressed his wishes of having a granddaughter from his son Prince William and daughter-in-law Kate.

It was said that Prince Charles is making the most of his time with his granddaughter before his son and daughter-in-law leave London.

Princess Charlotte's birth was registered by the Duke of Cambridge in the same way that Prince George's birth was registered, which was both at the Kensington Palace, witnessed by a Registrar from Westminster Office. Princess Kate's occupation was noted in the certificate as "Princess of the United Kingdom."

Kate prefers being referred to as the "Duchess of Cambridge," than being called a princess, as she was conferred by the Queen on her wedding day. She is also, at times, addressed as "Princess William of Wales."

Prince William, on the other hand, had registered himself, not as a helicopter pilot, but as the "Prince of United Kingdom" on the baby's birth certificate. The certificate states Prince William's full name, Princess Kate's full name, her birth place, and the date and place of Charlotte's birth, which is May 2, at Paddington, Westminster.

Prince Harry, who is currently in Australia where he is working with the country's armed forces, said he can't wait to see his niece whom he described as "absolutely beautiful."
