Este viernes 25 de octubre se estrena en Espańa la canción que el famoso cantautor argentino Palito Ortega ha dedicado al Papa y que se titula "La Luz de Francisco", cuyas regalías serán donadas a una obra de caridad.

BUENOS AIRES (ACI) - Palito Ortega es el seudónimo de Ramón Bautista Ortega, cantautor, actor, productor, director de cine y político (algunos ańos). En su trayectoria ha filmado 33 películas y es conocido por canciones como "La felicidad", "Despeinada" y "Amor en el aire" que canta a dúo con la espańola Rocío Durcal. En marzo de 1967 se casó con su actual esposa Evangelina Salazar con quien tuvo seis hijos.

"La luz de Francisco" será estrenada en dos programas radiales en Espańa conducidos por el Padre José Antonio Medina. Uno en Radio María Espańa -con entrevistas grabadas en Buenos Aires- y otro en la Cadena Cope, ambos sobre el Santo Padre.

En declaraciones a la agencia AICA, el Padre Medina seńaló que "Palito Ortega -soy muy amigo de su hijo mayor Martín- me escribió una canción para que la use de cortina musical de ambos programas y mańana es el estreno".

"Tuve la oportunidad de estar con él, durante mi viaje a la Argentina en el mes de agosto pasado, y compartiendo distintas vivencias y proyectos, le hablé de estos programas y de allí surgió el pedido y el ofrecimiento de esta canción. Que es un doble regalo: en particular hacia mí, ya que me la ha regalado para que yo la utilice en estos ciclos radiofónicos en los cuales intento acercar al gran público espańol la persona y mensaje del Papa", agregó.

El sacerdote dijo además que Palito Ortega "me ha manifestado su intención de donar las regalías o royalty, que es el pago que percibe el titular de los derechos de autor de una obra determinada, a una obra de caridad, que en cuanto esté concretada lo haremos público, como corresponde".

Sobre la canción, Palito Ortega dijo a medios espańoles que "es casi un taquirari (ritmo musical folclórico de Bolivia). Me gustó cómo quedó la melodía, muy andina (tiene siqus y charangos) y me gustó la idea".

"Todo nació del encuentro con este sacerdote que es mendocino y vive en Espańa. Le puse 'La luz de Francisco' y este nombre se debe a la manera en la que Francisco revolucionó la familia cristiana en el mundo entero", precisó el cantautor.

"Hemos hablado por teléfono y hemos grabado un saludo juntos, también me comentó que ya se la han pedido de varios lugares de Latinoamérica y tenemos la ilusión de llevársela juntos, de ir con la guitarra para cantársela al Papa", concluyó el Padre Medina.
