MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - A 6-foot wing flap was recently located on a beach on the Indian Ocean island of La Reunion. Primary evaluation of the discovery has led government officials and aviation fanatics to believe it belongs to the Malaysian Airlines jet. However, some believe it is all a hoax. Police claim it is too early to judge whether the debris really is from MH370.
Many conspiracy theories have been formed since the disappearance of MH370 last year - from murder, flame, terrorism and pilot suicide. More conspiracy theories have been created all in an attempt to solve the mystery that is shrouding the fateful evening of March 8, 2014.
The personal problems of pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah were raised in the immediate aftermath of MH370's disappearance as one theory to explain the mystery. However, these were angrily denied by his wife and people who know him explained that the pilot was a devoted family man who loved his job.
According to the conspiracy theory, Pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah planned mass murder because of his personal problems, locking his co-pilot out of the cockpit, closing down all communication lines, depressurizing the main cabin and then disabling the vessel, leaving it on auto-pilot until it ran out of fuel.
One expert suggested that the missing Malaysian airplane was hijacked by orders of Vladimir Putin and secretly landed in Kazakhstan.
Satellite data suggests the aircraft did make a turn. and according to theorists, the only reason for this course of action is an emergency. A catastrophic fire had been a persistent and possibly credible theory about MH370's devastation.
The recent recovery of a wing flap bearing a maintenance code number that matches Boeing 777 aircraft has created an increasing excitement of belief that the first clue has been found, perhaps signifying that MH370 crashed into the Indian Ocean and not in the Gulf of Thailand or the Bay of Bengal.
