After a heavy downpour in Liaoning Province, China, toads filled the streets.

Thousands of toads swarmed an area at Liaoning Province, China after a heavy downpour, hopping out of a lake nearby. The toads were filmed as they populated a certain area on the of Ganjingzi Qu, Liaoning Sheng with a reminiscent view of a Biblical plague written in the Book of Exodus. According to The Daily Mail, the toads were of relatively small sizes and observed jumping from different directions.

Highlights

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The Daily Mail recorded a short film that shows the toads hopping everywhere and piling up over each other, causing the grounds to appear like it was moving.

Although there were about tens of thousands of them present in the area after escaping their habitat during that morning's heavy rainfall, it was reported that the situation was not as dramatic as perceived.

Among the groups of toads on the pavements were huge gaps in between. However, with the amount of area they occupied, people were conscious while crossing paths.

According to the Bible, Egypt was once plagued by frogs during the time of Pharaoh. As he had refused to let the Hebrews (Israelis) leave the nation, God sent down ten plagues in display of His power and being upset for the Pharaohs refusal of His command. Moses then led the people out and worshipped God.

"And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading troughs:

And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants." (Exodus 8:4)
