El Papa Francisco ya esta en Panama para participar de la Jornada Mundial de la Juventud (JMJ) que se realizara hasta el domingo 27 de enero.

PANAMA (ACI Prensa) - El avion de Alitalia que llevo al Santo Padre, su sequito y los periodistas que lo acompanan en cada viaje internacional que realiza, aterrizo en el aeropuerto de Tocumen a las 4:15 p.m, hora local.
Al bajar del avion, el PontĂÂfice fue recibido por el presidente de Panama, Juan Carlos Varela; acompanado de su esposa; el Nuncio Apostolico en Panama, Mons. Miros'aw Adamczyk; entre otras autoridades civiles y eclesiales.
En medio de un gran ambiente de fiesta y con el himno de la JMJ Panama 2019 de fondo, Francisco recibio un ramo de flores entregado por tres ninos vestidos con trajes tĂÂpicos panamenos.
Luego del recibimiento en el aeropuerto, el Santo Padre se dirigira a la Nunciatura Apostolica donde descansara para iniciar manana jueves 24 una serie de actividades, como el encuentro con el presidente panameno y el cuerpo diplomatico.
Ese mismo dĂÂa por la tarde el Papa se encontrara con los obispos centroamericanos y estara en la ceremonia de acogida a los peregrinos de la JMJ.
El viernes 25 visitara el Centro de Cumplimiento Las Garzas donde confesara a algunos menores recluidos allĂÂ y presidira el VĂÂa Crucis con los jovenes por la tarde.
El sabado 26 el Santo Padre presidira una Misa con los sacerdotes, religiosos y consagrados en la Catedral BasĂÂlica de Santa MarĂÂa La Antigua, almorzara con un grupo de jovenes y presidira la Vigilia de Oracion de la JMJ.
El domingo 27, el ultimo de su visita a Panama, presidira la Misa final de la JMJ y visitara el hogar Buen Samaritano.
