The Ministers of the Interior, Culture and Foreign Affairs went on site to meet with the management of TV5 Monde. Bernard Cazeneuve said that "the investigation is ongoing; we are determined to make it succeed quickly."
The Minister of Culture and Communication Fleur Pellerin recognized the need to "bring together very soon, all the leaders of major broadcasters" to deal with some risks that may exist and how to handle them better.
A few hours earlier, Yves Bigot, director of TV5 Monde said in a video it is impossible for the channel to transmit any information due to piracy. "Our sites and our social networks are not under our control, and they display all the claims of the Islamic state. On the Facebook page of TV5 Monde appear documents presented as identification and CV relatives of French soldiers involved in operations against the Islamic state," explained Bigot.
"Soldiers of France, stay away from the Islamic state! You have the chance to save your families, enjoy it," was the message posted by the hackers affiliated to the Islamic State. With what they call a "cyber-jihad against the enemies of the Islamic state," world media are plan to prevent attacks from happening by strengthening technological equipments.
