'It's endangering his health.'

A Florida mom, Tiffany Huffman, claims her four-year-old son's prekindergarten teacher at Rymfire Elementary School in Palm Coast forced him to unclog a toiled after he used too much toilet paper.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Huffman said her son claims he forgot to wash his hands after unclogging the toilet, and that neither the classroom aide nor the teacher reminded him to do so.

"He had just got done going number one and number two, so I guess all of that was in the toilet when he had to do that - barehanded, Huffman told WESH.

The teacher admitted the boy did in fact have to unclog the toilet, but claims the toilet was clean. Huffman was still livid, saying it didn't matter whether the bowl was clean or not as it was a public toilet and her son's hands should never have been in the bowl.

"It's endangering his health," Huffman said. "I realized afterwards that there were cuts on his hand. The bacteria, anything could set in on those cuts. The time before she [the teacher] had the custodian come and use the plunger which is what you're supposed to do. But this time she thought he needed to do it himself."

She claimed her son was thoroughly embarrassed by his punishment.

"He felt like people were watching him have to do this. He was humiliated.

The Flager County School District released a statement to say an investigation is underway and has offered to put the boy in a different class, but to do so would require another child to be transferred into the classroom he vacates.

Hoffman didn't find the exchange fair to the other child, saying it wouldn't solve the problem: the teacher.

"If you'll make your own child do something that horrific, why would we be putting our children in your care?" Hoffman asked.

Huffman has since removed her son from the school and continues to share the horror story.
