Mailman makes big moves to make the boy's wish come true.

During a routine mail delivery, a mailman from Utah encountered a young boy searching through a junk mail bin. Curious, he asked the boy what he was doing. The boy's response prompted him to lend a hand. Through a Facebook post, the pair has now received a worldwide response of help, from people of countries like India.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - It was Sunday afternoon when Ron Lynch saw the 12-year old boy, named Matthew Flores, picking out and reading material from the junk mail bin.

"A young man was standing here reading junk mail and asked me if I had any extra," he told KSL-TV.

The mailman asked the boy what he was doing and according to reports, Lynch was told that Flores was looking for something good to read, as he had no books at home or money to spend for public libraries. Flores explained that to him, reading is interesting and can make a person smarter.

Lynch was stunned by the simple wish coming from a boy during this electronic-driven society and generation.

"At 12 years old he didn't want electronics, he didn't want to sit in front of the TV playing games all day, this kid just wanted to read," explained the mailman, displaying his wonder about the boy. Learning about Flores and his wish, Lynch decided to make the biggest delivery ever in his career - a library for Flores.

After posting a picture of Flores alongside his story on Facebook for Lynch's friends to see and help out, the project spread worldwide, garnering warm responses among people, even from Australia, India and the UK.

Matthew received the books from the strangers Lynch had talked to through social media.

He promised to read every book and share them with other kids.
