MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Rein, 27, "passed out in the restroom with a syringe hanging out of her arm, and a piece of metal foil, with an empty clear bag containing a small amount of unknown white powder by her side," according to the written police document submitted upon a closer inspection done by another school employee.

Rein was taken to a hospital, and was arrested for possessing controlled substances.  When asked about the syringe Rein allegedly explained she did not know why one was hanging out in her arm when she was found, but that her roommate has diabetes.

According to the police papers, her bag and purse, left in Denver Center for International Studies at Ford Elementary School, was searched and police found "several bottles of various pills, several more syringes, and metal caps containing a burnt powder substance residue" with her stuff.

Parents were informed about the incident through a sent home letter from the principal.

"We are working with the Denver Police Department and the DPS Office of Safety and Security on this investigation. Please know that the safety and well-being of our students is our priority," wrote the principal. "The school counselor talked with the students involved in this incident and is available to talk with other students if they are troubled by this incident."
