Taken moments before their wedding, a photo of U.S. Marine Corps corporal and his, then, soon-to-be wife went viral for the heartfelt and touching imagery. Holding hands with eyes closed, the couple took their time to ask God for His guidance on the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife. They wanted to thank God for His blessings, touched that they feel the same way about God.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - "We were about to take our first steps in life together, and we didn't want to take a step without it being in God's will. I prayed to God for my beautiful and intelligent wife that he blessed me with and the amazing family I was marrying into," said U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Caleb Earwood, 21, during an interview with Today.com.
Standing at the staircase donned in his uniform, while his bride Maggie, 22, leaned against the wall on her gown, the couple held hands as they prayed to God captured by their wedding photographer, who then shared it online.
"I have photographed a lot of weddings. This has to be one of the best things I have ever got to see much less photograph. Before the ceremony and before they saw each other Caleb said a prayer for their marriage and lives. AWESOME!!!" posted Dwayne Schmidt, the photographer, on Facebook.
Caleb and Maggie, now married, are both glad that their photo went up on social media, garnering positive responses and inspiring other people with their faith.
Maggie explained that she was immensely relieved they both looked at God as the center of their relationship, after being asked how she felt about the gesture her now-husband made.
"When I first grabbed his hand, he was shaking really bad, so I knew he was really nervous. It relieved me to know the person I was getting ready to marry felt the same way about God," she said.
