Mrs. Con Mac is still able to dance and lift weights.

Mrs. Con Mac celebrated her 104th birthday this month, and she's still capable of dancing and lifting weights. In an article written by Irika Sargent, the energetic woman of more than a century old is still an active and dedicated member of the YMCA family center at Weston Florida. Seven days a week, Con Mac goes to her Silver Sneaker cardio class to exercise. Her secret: making her family happy, meditation, praying and a healthy diet.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Con Mac is a strict vegetarian, who loves cooking egg rolls. She is happy doing things she loves with her family. Coming to the United States from Vietnam in 1975, she was forced to raise her two children as a widow.

Now, Con Mac has 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who add to her wonderful life.

According to her daughter Bich-De Lu, Con Mac lives longer because she knows how to relax and spends time watching the moon. She also gives great attention to education - five of her grandchildren are doctors, one is a pharmacist.

"She is just an amazing woman. I can't believe that she is turning 104 and I just think that she's probably the most amazing person I know," said Kristy Nguyen, a great-granddaughter, as cited in Sargent's article.

The inspiring 104-year-old woman taught her family to pray and meditate everyday, part of her long celebrated life's secrets.

On her birthday, she was honored by the City of Weston with a proclamation. One of her friends, Judi Greenburg, said that she is indeed a very wonderful person inspiring them and making them proud.
