MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Starting on February 28, Regini's stand caught the attention of a local news crew that aired a report on his quest, helping him raise $400 that weekend alone.
According to Good Morning America, Regini's only incentive for doing this was out of his happiness that Cade's life was saved because Cade "was probably the nicest kid he had met."
Upon garnering responses from people who had watched the report, the nonprofit stand has now raised about $3,000. There is also an online fundraising in response to his project that has garnered about $2,000 now.

The basis of Regini's hot cocoa stand is a cup of hot cocoa is sold for $1, while those with marshmallows is $2, and his parents are sending amounts over $5 straight to the hospital.
Popular hot chocolate brand, Swiss Miss also extended help to Regini and Humprey by donating $1,000, aside from hot cocoa packets they could use on the project.
Cary Larger, Senior Vice President of Community Fundraising at Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation, said Regini's efforts are particularly meaningful whether it is big or small, due to the message it's sending - younger community members are giving for enhancement to their peers' medical and hospital needs.
Last Sunday night, Regini and his mom went to the hospital to turn over the donations they raised.
This inspiring young boy has no plans of stopping; he's said that he likes to help people through selling.
