We ask you, urgently: don't scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The person you are in a relationship with often becomes your best friend. Taking that in mind, BuzzFeed put together a list of the "secret best parts of being in a relationship that no one ever talks about."
1. Does this make me look good?
They are there to let you know if your outfit is rocking or flopping. (Warning: The boyfriend may tell a white lie here.)
Pray for love
2. Is there something in my teeth?
You never have to fear going out in public with scraps of lunch remaining in your teeth.
3. Did you make it home OK?
Someone is always there to help you get home safe and to care if you make it home.
4. I have nothing to do, and that's OK
Even when you have nothing to do on the weekend, at least now you have someone to do nothing with; much better than being alone.
5. Sorry, I already have plans
You now have someone to use as an excuse to get out of going to things you don't really want to attend.
6. Can you help me?
That spot in the middle of your back, the one you can't quite reach, they'll get that for you.
7. Let's get out of here
Leaving a gathering with someone is easier than leaving alone.
8. Ahhhhhh
You're crazy. You know it, they know it, and they like it. You don't have to keep it a secret anymore.
Celebrate Marriage and Love with something special
9. Hey, look what I can do
That weird thing that you never wanted to show anyone before, yeah you can show your partner. That's what they're there for.
10. Call an ambulance!
Stop. They help put perspective into what's a serious health issue and what you're probably overreacting about.
