Here is a video of Bishop Strickland praying the Sacred Heart of Jesus Prayer during a procession at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers baseball franchise has caused controversy by honoring a known anti-Catholic organization. That organization, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, is made up of men who dress as nuns and paint their faces, and call one another "sister." The organization supports same-sex social initiatives. The Dodgers recognized the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for their "humanitarian" efforts. However, the recognition ignored the obvious fact the organization inherently engages in sacrilegious, anti-Catholic bigotry, and supports sinful behavior. Just as a person who paints their face black and behaves in the manner of a caricature, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are arguably doing the same to the Catholic faithful, and especially those called to religious life.
In response, Catholics across the country are calling on the Dodger team to repudiate this evil. In a broader sense, we are calling on all persons of faith to reject the social agenda which we are certain is promoted by the devil, and call all people to conversion of the heart.
