LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - You can now take Confirmation with Certificate of Completion as part of your confirmation or RCIA process, or just as a Catholic refresher. The course is now live at Catholic Online School with several hundred enrollments, just hours after opening.
Confirmation with Certificate of Completion is intended to support the Confirmation process by providing a robust academic program for catechists and students to enjoy. Both teachers and students are free to use the course how they see fit. Catechists will find the content is perfect as a centerpiece for their lessons.
Previously confirmed Catholics will also enjoy completing the course as a refresher.
Each lesson contains a short, "bite-sized" video, which is usually around a few minutes in length. The short size makes it easier to remember key concepts. The videos can be watched as many times as desired.
Videos are accompanied by lesson plans which clearly state objectives and learning outcomes, and contain study guides and quizzes, along with answers. Each lesson also includes transcripts, which can be read along with the video, or separately as desired.
Students who pay attention will notice the quiz questions and answers are drawn directly from the video content, which makes them easy to pass.
At the end of the course is a certificate of completion, which you can earn by viewing all elements of each lesson, watching videos to their end, and passing all quizzes.
Confirmation with Certificate of Completion is the first comprehensive courses of study for a sacrament. A similar course is planned for First Communion, but will depend on funding.
Those wishing to earn their certificate now can enroll here. Once enrolled in the school, locate the Confirmation course and click "Enroll Now" to begin. As always, all courses at Catholic Online School are free.

Enjoy this new course, and remember to leave feedback once you have your certificate!
