We ask you, urgently: don't scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Catholic Online School has some fantastic courses coming soon. First among them is Confirmation, which is due out in September.
The Confirmation course is designed to aid Confirmation students and catechists as they work through the year towards Confirmation. The course will be published all at once, and features 32 lessons, all reviewed and edited by a trained Catholic clergyman and theologian to conform to the teachings of the Catholic Church. The course will come with a certificate of completion. The course also comes with a lesson plan and short quizzes to check understanding as students progress.
Another offering coming soon will be Ancient History. In this bundle of courses, students will learn about the origins of civilization, and the early civilizations of the middle east from the Sumerian city-states to the Egyptians, to the Israelites, the Persians, Phoenicians and more. The bundle is the first of the World History collection which will teach students western civilization from the beginning of history to the present day. Once the full collection is published, students will be able to pass a final exam to earn a certificate of completion. Full publication of the entire collection will take some time, but it will be published in bundles. Future bundles include, Classical History, the Medieval Era, the Renaissance, the Age of Exploration, the Industrial Revolution, the World Wars, and the Modern Era.
In the meantime, some exciting courses are already published for students, including the Explore the Bible series. Each episode of Explore the Bible is a short documentary that explores a mystery of the Bible in detail, answering many questions people have.
Then, there's The Knights Templar course which follows the history and mysteries surrounding this legendary order of holy knights. This course also comes with a certificate of completion.
We have also published the Daily Readings course for August, so each day you can enjoy the Daily Readings with Questions for Reflection delivered by Deacon Kieth Fournier.
As usual, Catholic Online School continues to publish courses about your favorite saints, seasons, and celebrations of the Church.
