Comision de salud aprueba avance de proyecto de eutanasia en Chile

El 7 de agosto la Comision de Salud de la Camara de Diputados de Chile aprobo la idea de legislar el proyecto de la eutanasia, con siete parlamentarios a favor, cuatro en contra y una abstencion.

(ACI Prensa) - Fue ingresado en octubre de 2014 y tiene como objetivo "permitir la eutanasia haciendo efectiva la autonomia de las personas en caso de enfermedades terminales". Ahora pasara a ser debatido en otras comisiones.
El documento establece que la eutanasia podra ser solicitada por "la persona que ha sido diagnosticada en estado de salud terminal" o de "sufrimiento fisico o mental constante e insoportable que no puede ser apaciguado" por la medicina "y que resulta de una lesion o condicion patologica incurable".
Uno de los autores de la iniciativa, el diputado Vlado Mirosevic, dijo que su proyecto es una "legislacion razonable, democratica, civilizatoria y humanitaria".
Sin embargo, el diputado Jaime Bellolio, del partido Union Democrata Independiente, advirtio que el proyecto "no tiene ningun tipo de restriccion para saber que es lo que ocurre si hay una eutanasia en otra causal" y que "despenaliza tambien el suicidio asistido".
El diputado senalo que el proyecto no menciona los cuidados paliativos ni establece la objecion de conciencia. "Es decir, por que podriamos creer que es exclusivamente a traves de dos causales cuando el argumento que se ha esgrimido es el de la autonomia de la voluntad exclusiva?", cuestiono Bellolio.
