VATICANO (ACI Prensa) - El nuevo Arzobispo sucede a Mons. Louis Kebreau, quien presento su renuncia al cargo por haber llegado al limite de edad.

Mons. Saturne nacio el 14 de enero de 1964 en Delatte (Petit-Goave) en la Arquidiocesis de Puerto Principe. Fue ordenado sacerdote el 10 de marzo de 1991.

Despues de su ordenacion sacerdotal se desempeno como vicario parroquial en el Sacre-Coeur de Turgeau de Puerto Principe; director de la casa preparatoria de Jacquet para la Arquidiocesis de Puerto Principe.

Entre 1998 y 2003 estudio en la Pontificia Universidad Gregoriana de Roma, donde obtuvo un doctorado en Teologia Dogmatica. Desde 2003 es director de estudios y profesor de Teologia en el Seminario Mayor Interdiocesano de Puerto Principe.

Desde 2004 ha sido responsable del comite a cargo de la Pastoral Mariana en la misma arquidiocesis, y desde 2005  Secretario Nacional de la Comision de Pastoral Juvenil en Haiti.

El 28 de abril de 2010 fue nombrado Obispo de Jacmel y recibio la consagracion episcopal el 29 de mayo de ese mismo ano.

Desde noviembre de 2017 es Presidente de la Conferencia Episcopal Haitiana.
