LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) -- What happens after you die? This may be the greatest question people ask. How we choose to live our lives is often predicated upon the answer. For if we believe nothing happens after death, then it's logical to assume we are not going to be motivated by desire for a heavenly reward, or intimidated by a fear of hell. Conversely, if we believe in life after death, then we might be motivated by this belief to act differently.
There is, of course, no way to answer this question with a conclusive response, except on the basis of faith. However, some people have been dead and remarkably come back to life. Many of these people shared some compelling experiences that could offer a clue about what happens when you die.

One man experienced peacefulness at the moment of death.

This person was dead for only a short time, but felt like they were gone for a day.

Another person who experienced peace and saw their life to come. This also person saw a man in white robes.

One man's father has died eight times. Each time, he's had the same experience.

This person was a child when they died, and now understands that this life is only temporary.

A beautiful light and stars, this is a common experience.

A drug user encounters absolute love, and quits his habit, cold turkey.

This person simply experienced peace.

This person fears they saw a vision of hell with Satan walking on lava like a fire ant, and is now convinced they're going to hell.

An atheist saw a black gate and was frightened.
