LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - "[I]t is really clear [Pope Francis] is enjoying" his Polish trip, Holy See Press Office, Greg Burke, reported.

"You can tell he is at ease," Burke stated, "very much at ease."

Burke announced Friday would be reserved for the pontiff as a day of reflection and would visit Auschwitz then the Via Crucis but Burke explained the rest of the pontiff's five-day visit will and have been spent with joy.

"He did throw out a big challenge: Are you willing to change the world?" Burke said of Pope Francis.

"He talked about mercy having a young face - it always has a young face. He believes that, and he knows the young people believe that.

"World Youth Day is all about fun, and it is about joy - and he talked about that today, he says that often you know a Christian without joy, something is really missing."

"Now having said that, Christianity is also the Cross, and that's a part of it, and the Pope is the first one to admit that."

Pope Francis' first papal visit to Poland has deeply touched the nation and the pontiff's constant smile and loving words reveal the joy warming his heart for World Youth Day.
