MUNTINLUPA CITY, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Tchividjian, 42, openly admitted that his life had turned negative. He explained that his life has changed forever after recent events. In June, he shared, in an interview with the Washington Post, that his married life was in turmoil, admitting that he had an affair.

The former pastor is currently looking for a job to provide for his family and posted several open notes over his social media, sharing his current situation.

"My family and I are, at every imaginable level, overwhelmed. What life will look like from here on out is completely unknown to us. And that scares me," Tchividjian posted in a Facebook post published on Wednesday night. "But we are alive and not without hope. We are certain that better and brighter days are ahead."

"One of the big questions I've wrestled with is, how do I properly steward this glorious ruin? To be quite honest, I want to crawl into a hole and be anonymous for a long, long time. I don't want a stage, a platform, a microphone, a spotlight. I want to disappear," Tchividjian continued. "Nothing seems more appealing to me on most days than to simply vanish."

"But here's my struggle: I actually believe the message that I've preached with all my might (and which I need now more than ever)."

As Tchividjian continues to try picking up the broken pieces of his life, he tries to embrace the message of the gospel on a daily basis, hoping to become a better and a "polished" version of himself.

He admitted that he constantly thought of giving up, but continued to carry on in hopes of a better future. Healing is something he prayed he could complete in the near future. Tchividjian expressed his gratitude to the people who were praying for him and his family.

Earlier this summer, Tchividjian revealed that his marriage had been in crisis over the past four months and that he was seeking counseling with Dr. Pau Tripp, a well-known Christian counselor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He gave up his leadership position from the church, after discovering that his wife was having an affair. His wife, Kim, also spoke about the issue and explained that what her husband shared was his opinion and not her own. She wishes the public to respect the privacy of her family at this time.
