FLASHING WARNING LIGHTS: Author's five signs the end of time is near
FREE Catholic Classes
"Target Israel," a new book tackles and illustrates the role of Israel in the Biblical prophecy. However, the author suggests there are five signs present in modern day that tell us the end is already near. He claims those signs can be seen in the Scriptures, but reminds that the actual date will never be known. The contemporary clues were shared in a recent interview with a news outlet.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The first clue is that Israel is back in the Promised Land, said Dr. Ed Hindson, one of the authors of the book "Target Israel."
He explained to The Blaze that there are these "rumors of war," which are now being fueled because of the pervasive crisis in the Middle East. That is what Hindson considers the second sign, where the existence of the global economy is the third.
"You've got a crisis in the Middle East. Constant rumors of war... and that tension could potentially lead to the kinds of wars that the Bible discusses in the end times. The fact that a global economy already exists indicates to me the potential at least for someone - or a group of people - taking over," Dr. Hindson explained.
He added there are weapons of mass destruction observed as the fourth sign. There is already the "moral decay in our society that is now rampant and exponential," the fifth and final sign.
Dr. Hindson stated that these signs are flashing, like warning lights, that we cannot ignore. Despite "knowing the signs," Hindson asserts that nobody knows when the time will come. "Jesus clearly said nobody knows... the day and hour of his return," added the author.
"Target Israel" is co-written by Tim LaHaye.
