How God's message in a mysterious dream created a life-changing children's foundation

Christina Noble is known as the founder of Christina Noble Children's Foundation, yet many are still unfamiliar with the story behind her current mission. Through the upcoming biopic about Noble's life and works, director Stephen Bradley is hoping that many will be inspired by how Noble, from Ireland, pioneered a visionary and missionary legacy, despite her own horrific childhood.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - "She was born in the 1940s and was a kid in the 50s when Dublin was a poor place, and her life took a terrible turn when her mother died at 10... and that was really the start of a hard journey. She ended up as a teenager homeless in a big park," shared Bradley in an interview with The Blaze.
At 18, she moved to England where she got married and had three children. However, her husband turned out to be abusive, so Christina decided to leave. In the middle of her personal troubles, she had a dream that puzzled and haunted her mind.
"I don't know why I dreamed about Vietnam, perhaps it was because the country was so much in the news at the time. In the dream, naked Vietnamese children were running down a dirt road fleeing from a napalm bombing. The ground under the children was cracked and coming apart and the children were reaching to me. One of the girls had a look in her eyes that implored me to pick her up and protect her and take her to safety. Above the escaping children was a brilliant white light that contained the word 'Vietnam.'"
The story was posted in detail on the foundation's website, coming from Christina's own words.
According to Bradley, she had the dream after reading about the Vietnam War in a newspaper at a time when she was working hard at a chip shop.
The dream sent by God, as Noble puts it, wasn't fully realized until she personally experienced the poverty and hardships of the Vietnamese, especially that of the children.
She began hundreds of projects in Vietnam and Mongolia to help more than 700,000 kids and adults. Most of her projects are dedicated to health, education and community development.
