We ask you, urgently: don't scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >
Montana Ranch and Cattle: Sustainable ranching is what we do
FREE Catholic Classes
The history of ranching stretches back thousands of years. Nature forced sustainability. A rancher who destroyed their land soon starved, or at least went out of business.

In more recent times, chemicals, feedlots, and industrial methods have changed this. Today, ranchers can grow beef on an industrial scale. Chemicals and cheap fodder allow them to confine herds in tight spaces. Injections keep most of the animals from developing fatal diseases before slaughter. Grassland turns barren, water becomes undrinkable.
For a long time, some in the business forgot about sustainability. They've relied on relaxed regulations, tax-breaks, chemicals, and exploitation to make their living. It's great for stocking stores with flavorless, cheap meat. But it's bad for everyone and everything else. But as the climate warms and forests disappear, the world is starting to think again. Industrial ranching is unsustainable.
Montana Ranch and Cattle Company only uses traditional ranching. It's sustained the world for centuries, and it's sustained us for 185 years. It also makes for a better cut of meat. One that is rich in flavor, with just-right tenderness and texture.
Our goal isn't to flood supermarket shelves with the cheapest possible products. Our goal is to provide you with the Greatest Meat in the World, with ethics, pride, and sustainability. We have practiced sustainable, regenerative agriculture longer than most. That's why when their model collapses and fails, we will still be here.
It may not be the most profitable approach to ranching, but it is the right approach. And it's one you will enjoy when you serve Montana Ranch and Cattle meats to your family and guests.
