'Let us open our minds together:' Photographer captures shocking footage above Peru

UFO or just a trick of the eye?

Miraculous events and sightings have been recorded throughout history and Peru may have just experienced one of them.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The Mexican station Misterio Canal (Mysterious Channel) uploaded a video to their YouTube Channel revealing what many believe is a space craft traveling across Peru's cloudy skies.

The photographer, whose name is not revealed, left his video equipment aimed at the sky above Freedom, Peru.

In a sped-up time-lapse video, the cameraman was shocked to discover what appears to be an alien ship emerging from a group of clouds.

The image appears to be a bulging craft emerging between fluffy white clouds but many were quick to claim it was just an illusion.

Misterio Canal captioned the footage and claimed it is possible the people of Earth are being "guarded by extraterrestrial intelligence."

The channel also claimed it could be part of an experiment using new technology originating on our planet while some believe it could be a piece of technology appearing from the future.

Still others believe the "UFO" was merely the result of shadows in the clouds or a clever Photoshop job.

Misterio Canal wrote a reminder that not everything can be proven true or false but we should debate together. The channel also stated, "Let us open our minds together."

Regardless of whether the footage was edited, reveals evidence of a UFO or is just a trick of the light, the surprising footage certainly provides an interesting sight!
