The Corporate Christian

What is a "corporate Christian"? It is a name I have coined for Christians whose world-view is filtered through the 501c(3) charter of their church. Not every Christian nor every church goes through this filter. However, there are a number who do and they do not realize that they are feeding a system which is quietly taking their freedom of religion and speech in the name of a new secular "god," political correctness.

The 501c(3) charter is a modern day invention going back to Johnson, who took JFK's place after the assassination. It gives churches the ability to give tax deductions to its constituents when they donate to the church. Not every church is under this charter.

Like all things "free" from the government, there is a price, a hidden price that may not be realized until later. For example, those who get locked into the welfare system find that when they want to escape, the price of escape is so high that they may not be able to pay it. In other words, income is carefully monitored by caseworkers. Once the income goes over a certain threshold, benefits cease, or are reduced. Trying to jump the gap may be impossible at a minimum or near-minimum wage-level jobs, and so the price of "free" stuff is being locked into welfare for generations.

There is a price somewhere.  

For the churches, the price is not being able to speak out politically. This is what is agreed to in exchange for the 501c(3) charter. This has bound the churches. They have difficulty taking a stand against anything political that is contrary to their religious beliefs.

Not only that, with the every increasing encroachment of the state on free speech, even traditional sermons about sin or hell are forbidden, as that may be "hate" speech. The fact is, "sin" is missing the mark and this world has missed the mark since the Fall. All one has to do is wake up in the morning, read the headlines, and see that this world has missed the mark of the Kingdom of God which is "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

Since this has gone on since the 1950's, there are generations that did not live through that period of time, that do not understand that history, and that are not able to see how they are bound. I call them "corporate Christians."

Not having studied history, they do not realize the rise of socialism and a corporate oligarchy which destroys national borders in favor of the New World Order are specters and continuations of agendas from past history. This comes directly from Satan in the garden. Ultimately, the question is, who will rule the earth? Will it be Jesus Christ ruling and reigning over the earth or will it be Satan and the anti-Christ? We know the anti-Christ will work through the New World Order, so if a corporate Christian is supporting the New World Order in ignorance, they are doing so to their own destruction.

They are so indoctrinated to the need for politically correct speech, that they cannot see how they are bound by the hidden hand of their masters. Ultimately, Jesus Christ will rule and reign. However, God has shown throughout history and through special messages from heaven like those at Fatima in 1917 or that to Jonah the prophet in the Old Testament, that a certain amount of what happens is dependent upon man and his repentance or refusal to repent. God's ultimate purposes are fixed, but mankind and individuals can get there on an easier or harder pathway according to free will.

The fact is, corporate Christians need to wake up and make sure the agenda they are serving is not the New World Order and the future mark of the beast.
