Here's what's coming to Netflix in April as streaming overtakes cable

More Americans are watching streaming television.

Netflix has changed the world with its streaming model of delivering video on demand to consumers. Each week, Netflix releases new content while rotating out old content to keep its lineup from going stale.

Netflix has been joined by other streaming services including Hulu and HBO and several others. More Americans are watching television online, instead of on conventional cable networks. The development of the smart TV, which allows a television to stream the internet the same as cable, has made this possible.
