LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Rich in story, vibrant in presentation, The Bible may be one of the greatest miniseries ever presented by the History Channel. It does not appear that any expense was spared in terms of talent and special effects, which will ensure board, long-lasting appeal for the epic series.
To get a taste of what is to come, view the extended trailer above.
"Lady, I believe your son is the promised king of his people. What is his name?" one of the Wise Men asks of Mary.
"Jesus. His name is Jesus," she whispers. Those few seconds are more than enough to evoke tears, demonstrating the film's power to reach anyone with a beating heart.
See for yourself, and enjoy the clip. Also, return to Catholic Online for additional coverage of this upcoming miniseries. The Bible will premier on the History Channel on March 3.
