SINGLES MOVIE NITE offers singles an entertaining evening to meet and hang out with like-minded people who share the same faith and interests.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Motive Entertainment announces the launch of SINGLES MOVIE NITE, a nationwide event to celebrate the much-anticipated film There Be Dragons, directed by Roland Joffe (The Mission),  based on the life of Saint Josemaria Escriva.

Presented by CatholicMatch.com, SINGLES MOVIE NITE will take place in major markets nationwide on Friday, May 6th, where singles can attend a premiere showing of There Be Dragons at a local theater followed by an after-party nearby.

About the movie:
From Academy Award nominated director, Roland Joffe (The Mission and The Killing Fields), There Be Dragons is a powerful story of war, tragedy, love and redemption. Set during the turmoil of the Spanish Civil War (early 1900s) Dragons tells the story of two childhood friend who find themselves on opposite sides as war erupts. Wes Bentley (American Beauty) leads a terrific ensemble that includes Charlie Cox (Stardust), Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace), Emmy Award-winning Derek Jacobi (The King's Speech), Dougray Scott (Mission Impossible II) and Rodrigo Santoro (300).

The release of the film will be accompanied by a major grassroots campaign conducted by Motive Entertainment, the company that championed films like Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ and Disney's The Chronicles of Narnia. Motive Entertainment is releasing a variety of free teaching and preaching materials for Dragons and it is staging special vocation celebration premieres for churches and organizations during opening weekend in theaters nationwide.
