_"Be Kind Rewind"

New Line Home Entertainment, $27.95, rated PG-13

From the clever mind of writer-director Michel Gondry comes this comedy, starring Mos Def as a video store employee whose friend (Jack Black) gets hit by an electromagnetic field and somehow erases all the videos in the store. (The old-fashioned store owner, played by Danny Glover, doesn't believe in DVDs.) So the two decide to remake, with their own video camera and limited resources, all the movies they erased, like "Ghostbusters" and "Driving Miss Daisy." The DVD includes both the widescreen and full-screen versions of the film plus "Passaic Mosaic," a tribute to Passaic, N.J., where the movie was set.

_"Fool's Gold"

Warner Home Video, $28.98, rated PG-13

Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson reunite (they did "How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days") in this comedy-adventure about a fortune hunter and his ex-wife. The DVD comes with two very short special features: a gag reel ("Mutiny on the Hi-larious Seas") and a short documentary on McConaughey and Hudson working together again ("Flirting With Adventure").

_"Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins"

Universal Studios Home Entertainment, $29.98, rated PG-13

Martin Lawrence stars as a famous TV talk-show host and self-improvement guru who returns to his Southern home for his parents' 50th anniversary and finds himself being challenged by his relatives. Bonus features are deleted scenes and outtakes (including an alternate opening), reflections by cast members Lawrence, James Earl Jones, Cedric the Entertainer, Mo'Nique and others about their own experiences returning home after finding career success, a making-of documentary, a commentary by director Malcolm D. Lee and more.

_"Under the Same Moon" (rated PG-13)

First-time director Patricia Riggens shows the human face of illegal immigration in this story about a Mexican mother (Telenova star Kate del Castillo) who moves to the United States to find a job so that she can better support her 9-year-old son (Adrian Alonso), who is still living in Mexico with her mother. The movie, spoken in Spanish and English with English subtitles, is about mother and son's parallel attempts to reunite. The DVD includes deleted scenes, two short features on how the film was made and a commentary.

_"The Sword in the Stone: 45th Anniversary Special Edition"

Walt Disney Home Entertainment, $29.99, rated G

From 1963, this Disney animated feature tells the story of young King Arthur and the wizard Merlin. Bonus features include a new "Merlin's Magical Academy Game," cartoons featuring Mickey Mouse and Goofy, a documentary on the Disney songwriting team of Richard and Robert Sherman with song selections from the film, a "Sword in the Stone Scrapbook" and more.

_"Californication: Season One"

Two discs, CBS Home Entertainment/Paramount Home Entertainment, $42.99, not rated

In this edgy Showtime sitcom, David Duchovny stars as a Los Angeles writer who hates being a Los Angeles writer, loves sex, drugs and booze, and would really like to be back in the good graces of his former girlfriend (Natascha McElhone), the mother of his precocious 'tween daughter (Madeleine Martin). The only bonus features are episodes of two other Showtime series, "Dexter" and "The Tudors."
