LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The video was recorded in a church where the pontiff stands before a large mounted crucifix, two tables and a potted poinsettias.
The Pope is smiling as he enthusiastically raises his hands above his head and shakes them.
All is quiet in the video save for a few words in Italian His Holiness murmurs while displaying hand gestures.
He is signing a Christmas message for the deaf and hearing-impaired Catholic community.
Pope Francis is smiling and moving slowly as he carefully "says" each phrase and ends the 19-second-video with laughter and a wider grin.
The exact message is unknown but Matar has titled the video "pope wishing merry Christmas for the deaf."
There was no further description and the Vatican has not released any information concerning the message.
Though is remains unknown when or where the video was recorded, it was still a special message that the hearing-impaired community will appreciate this year.
