New evidence from Ferguson Missouri seems to vindicate the testimony of officer Darren Wilson, showing that the fatal shooting of Michael Brown may not be as cut and dry as many of the protestors in the area believe.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to some people familiar with the investigation and ongoing grand jury trial, numerous unnamed witnesses are corroborating the officer's view of events. Wilson testified that he and Brown fought for control of the firearm in the officer's vehicle, and that Brown was moving towards the officer when he shot him, and was not, in fact, surrendering.

The case has grabbed national attention, and brought into question how police interact with black individuals because Wilson is white, and Brown was black.
Sources say that the testimony given thus far to the St. Louis County grand jury so far supports Wilson's account of the August 9 shooting.
Analysis of the blood on the scene, shell casings and ballistics tests also support Wilson's testimony.
Now it appears that Brown was the aggressor, threatening the officer's life.
The grand jury is expected to finish deliberating in November, and the news leaks seem to stem from the pending decision.
The chairman of the George Washington University Department of Forensic Sciences, Victor Weedn, said that the autopsy reports do not fit with the story that Brown had his hands in the air when he was shot.
"Somebody could have raised their hands way above their head and lowered their hands and then be shot," Weedn said. "So an autopsy will never rule out that the hands were above the head. It can only say what happened at the time of the shooting. . . . With the graze to the right arm, it appears the arm was in a vertical position, suggesting that it was closer to down by his side, but it could have been higher."
