A disciple of St. Paul who was mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles. According to Pauls Letters to the Colossians and Ephesians, he was an assistant to Paul, being described by him as "my beloved brother and trustworthy minister in the Lord." Tradition declares him to have become bishop of Paphos, Cyprus.
