Al Corazon Eucaristico de Jesus

¡Oh Corazón eucarístico, oh amor soberano del Señor Jesús, que habéis instituido del augusto Sacramento para permanecer acá abajo en medio de nosotros, para dar a nuestras almas vuestra Carne como alimento y vuestra Sangre como celestial bebida! Nosotros creemos firmemente; ¡oh Señor Jesús!, en este amor sumo que instituyó la Santísima Eucaristía, y aquí delante de esta Hostia es justo que adoremos este amor, que lo confesemos y lo ensalcemos como el gran centro de la vida de vuestra Iglesia. Este amor es para nosotros una invitación apremiante, para que Vos nos digáis: ¡Mirad cuánto os amo! Dando mi Carne como alimento y mi Sangre como bebida, quiero con este contacto excitar vuestra caridad y uniros a mi; quiero llevar a cabo la. transformación (de vuestras almas en mí, que soy el crucificado, en mí, que soy el pan de la vida eterna; dadme, pues, vuestros corazones, vivid de mi vida, y viviréis de Dios. Nosotros lo reconocemos, ¡oh Señor!, tal es el llamamiento de vuestro Corazón eucarístico, y os lo agradecemos, y queremos, sí, queremos corresponder a él. Otorgadnos la gracia de penetrarnos bien de este amor sumo, por el cual, antes de padecer, nos convidasteis a tomar y a comer vuestro sagrado Cuerpo. Grabad en el fondo de nuestras almas el propósito firme de ser fieles a esta invitación. Dadnos la devoción y la reverencia necesarias para honrar y recibir dignamente el don de vuestro Corazón eucarístico, este don de vuestro amor final. Así podamos nosotros con vuestra gracia celebrar de modo efectivo el recuerdo de vuestra Pasión, reparar nuestras ofensas y nuestras frialdades, alimentar y acrecentar nuestro amor a Vos, y conservar siempre viva en nuestros corazones la semilla de la bienaventurada inmortalidad. Así sea.
