Abbot and missionary to the Picts, sometimes called Malrubius or Maelrubha. He was born in Ireland and became a monk under St. Comgall at Bangor. Maelrubius also stayed at lona before going to Scotland in 671. He founded Applecross parish in Ross and evangelized the region for more than haIfa century, converting the Picts.

I have The One Year Book of Saints by Rev. Clifford Stevens that states that
St. Maelrubha (Applecross) is the patron saint for April 22.
On the internet it appears that his day is April 20.

What saint would be considered the patron saint for someone born on April 22?
