St. Cletus
St. Cletus was the third bishop of Rome, and succeeded St. Linus, which circumstance alone shows his eminent virtue among the first disciples of St. Peter in the West. He sat twelve years, from 76 to 89. The canon of the Roman mass, (which Bossuet and all others agree to be of primitive antiquity,) Bede, and other Martyrologists, style him a martyr. He was buried near St. Linus, on the Vatican, and his relics still remain in that church.

St. Cletus, please continue to pray for us to remain steadfast and loyal to the teachings of the Catholic church.

Please pray for Gwen, Michelle, Jacob and all cancer patients especially the children. Thank you, dear Lord, for making me cancer free.
Dear Saint,
I earnestly pray for the soul of my friend, Cleetus, who died in January 2013. Let his Soul rest in Peace and find a place in the Kingdom of God to Thank and Praise Him Always. Kindly bless his family. Strengthen his wife and fill her with courage and hope so that she is able to manage her life and her children. Fulfill all her needs and grant her all the support to take control of her life and bring her children up in the Lord. Let her business flourish and people around her be honest and loving. Keep her away from all kinds of troubles and manipulation by wicked people. Let her and her children feel joy and happiness in their life. Amen.

ST. CLETUS,PRAY FOR US THAT WE MAY KEEP FAITHFUL THE LAWS OF GOD.
I wish this site would capitalize the word "Mass" when it refers to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I think if it were run by devout Catholics, "Mass" would be capitalized.
Acts 8:37 "If you believe with all your heart, you may."
I believe with all my heart.
Dear Pope St. Cletus, Please pray for us to remain loyal and steadfast in our faith.
Dear St. Cletus, pray for us. You were a leader of the early church during a period of heavy persecution, great trials and severe opposition. Thank you for your example. Pray for all of us on your feast day, for my country that we have free and fair elections...
Today's first reading is about how the eunuch of Ethiopia was moved to conversion by Baptism. He was travelling in his chariot, reading a passage from Isiah and wondering who the "lamb" that was slaughtered referred to. Philip the Apostle was had hand to give him the explanation. The eunuch believed and asked to be baptised. What a sweet story! I'm awed by it. However I feel saddened by family members who have been baptised, yet refuse to practise their faith. What terrible loss! But no, dear Saint, please intervene and bring my loved ones to true conversion. Amen.
my is cletus aiddou and i want to know what is the meaning of saints

I realized that mistake too. He seems pretty cool.
.......:"He was buried near St. Linus, on the Vatican, end his relics still remain in that church. "
While the information is helpful, I often wonder if I am the only reader who notices spelling errors on this site?
